Advocacy in Albany

Each year, a group of motivated students and staff head to Albany to tell our delegation exactly how we feel. We go in February, after the governor releases his budget and before the Legislature releases its own version. In face-to-face meetings with senators and members of the Assembly, students speak honestly about how programs like TAP, C-STEP, and HEOP have helped them be successful in college. This is truly your-as a student and citizen-chance to affect state business and the all-important funding these critical programs deserve.

To find out more, or to volunteer to go on our annual Albany road trip, please call at 443-3919.

SAVE THE DATE: The next Student Lobby Day is scheduled for February 10, 2009.
