Southeast University Neighborhood Association

The Southeast University Neighborhood Association (SEUNA) is devoted to making the neighborhood a safe, pleasant place to live, work and raise a family, and encourages owner-occupied homes. It represents the neighborhood's interests before city and County government and strives to keep its membership informed about issues and events affecting the quality of life in the neighborhood.

SEUNA is one of the oldest, continuously functioning volunteer organizations in the City of Syracuse. SEUNA serves the neighborhood at the southeast corner of Syracuse University, and its incorporation boundaries are: East Colvin Street and Meadowbrook Drive to the south; Westmoreland Ave. to the east; Euclid Ave and Clarendon Street to the north; Ostrom Ave and Comstock Ave to the west.

This association has been formed for the following purposes:

  • To promote and preserve a safe and pleasant neighborhood environment, conducive to family life and child-rearing, and to ensure the quality of the area

  • To encourage maintenance and improvement of private and public property in the neighborhood

  • To induce citizens to take an active interest in the affairs of the neighborhood

  • To these ends, to promote responsive and efficient conduct of local government
